Honestly now, WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON? Superstar rapper (Ajax) now housing street kids? Okay, maybe that's the "cool" version of community service, so we'll forgive him :) BUT Dineo Mashaba turning into Brooke Forrester? WAIT! On the list of not-so-okay things, THAT is REALLY not okay. Kenneth, Thomas and now Paul? tjo weh! There are endless blogger-unfriendly things to say about this, including crass words - but because I know Jesus, I'm gonna end it here! LOL!

Ladies will be VERY pleased to know that he's performing at club Premium this Friday (27August 2010). I'm excited! The invitations are all bougie, the venue's fancy and the guestlist's got celebrities for days! Sounds like a perfect event...BUT, what's Tyga going to perform? I mean, all his greatest songs are ones where he is featured or featuring popular artists. Right? Yes. Think about it, what's Bed Rock without Lloyd, Weezy and Nicki Minaj? What's Deuces without Chris Brown? Text me when you find the answers!

Okay, a little mercy - I know. Fine, he's got a mixtape (apparantly); but do we KNOW the songs? Apparantly not. SO, what to do with R150...pay for a gig where you'll hum along to songs you wish you knew OR get yourself a nice shirt and a Big Mac with the change?

I Am Not My Hair

So, I'm living in Joburg - busy, big city...WHOOP WHOOP!

One problem though:

walking around with natural hair.

I thought it was all right, until the "cool" people started assuming that I'm too broke to afford a weave. WHAT?!

Does it get WEIRDER than this?!!!
What used to be a peaceful walk to campus in my favourite pony tail

has turned into a hair scandal! You might ask yourself: "is it necessarry?" ...the answer to that should be NO!

I'm not a sistah of the soil nor am I a future Rastafarian. I just LOVE my natural hair - less tress.

*sigh*

now that we got that out of the way, it's safe to say that "I am NOT my hair" (go India Arie!!!) - that doesn't mean I'd go bald either :)
